“Day to day, where do you want to be”- Gomez

**********************

So who are we? Plainly put we are just a family of three that are just adventurous enough to move across the big pond to explore Europe while being lucky enough to call Germany our home for a few years.

We think that life is too short and the world is too big. That the greatest stories often begin at home but just as often are likely to begin on a ferry ride through the Alps, by taking a wrong turn, or starting the day with no plans and ending up driving across Costa Rica or taking a trail up to a castle. That life shouldn’t be spent indoors but rather outside, even if that means Becky is freezing because it is below 80 degrees.

And lastly that when making decisions you should ask yourself “would I regret it if I didn’t do it”…that is how we ended up here and how you ended up reading about our adventures.

So you know that feeling that you get when you read a good book filled with adventure, spectacular sights, funny stories and characters that take you on a journey through distant lands with them? Well I can’t promise that we are as exciting as a great novel, but we are living in the land where many of these stories come from, so that has to at least put our feet and our words in the right direction.

Adventure awaits in a land of castles, forests, half-timbered houses, and stunning landscapes, and we hope to catch every Wanderweg along the way. Welcome to Germany and our little Lewis Tale along the way…
